Photo/Fusion Painting

The first group of paintings to incorporate the surface of photography altered by drawing, acrylic medium and glass collage were created in the 1980’s. Large scale C-prints were used as a surface, mounted on wood. These works fuse photography and paint to create an extended interpretation of the literal landscape.
